Oris pointer date vintage watch

We open October with a signature piece from a well-known brand. Apparently, my vintage watch hobby has also "infected" the Clairvoyant. She suddenly and currently has several watches in her rotation including her favorite Hampton. A recent addition to her rotation is this Oris pointer date that is manually wound. It keeps time and I estimate the power reserve to be more than 36 hours.

The watch got its name from the  complication that is the 4th hand that points to the date on the dial.

Case back showing the watch to shock resistant and 30m water resistance. Shown also are the Oris emblem and the serial number.
The lumes still work well on this watch.
The lugs on this watch is 16mm and I got a nice leather strap from Hirsch that was perfect for this piece. Meanwhile, I also "turned over" my Grand Seiko quartz to the wife. She says its perfect for her business attire and I couldn't agree more.

Note: We parted with this watch early this year together with an automatic Oris pointer date. The watches were bought by the same person who made quite an effort for it to be discounted. He even concocted stories for whom the watches would be, appealing to our emotions. Later, we found out that he was reselling the watches for almost twice the price that he got it. [4/6/2020]
