The Auro chocolates I got from a recent trip to Cebu included this 70%
dark chocolate they call Paquibato. The name is derived from a district
of Davao City having the same name, and the origin of the cacao used for
the chocolate.

Details of the chocolate at the back of the box |

Details on the chocolate include the source (Paquibato, Davao City) and a narrative on its production. |

Nutrition information on the chocolate and the price tag (I made sure
not to remove the tag so I remember for how much I got this chocolate.) |
The
chocolate is exquisite and refined. It is at least at par with the
prize-winning Malagos chocolates that also come from Davao. And that
means we also thought this was definitely as good as the chocolates you
can get abroad that are also single origin, hopefully fair trade and
sustainably produced. The price is also just right for a chocolate of
this quality as this 100g bar costs just under 9 USD. We though it is
definitely a must buy for anyone wanting to enjoy Philippine-made
chocolates.
